This position supports both front-of-house and back-of-house operations by ensuring that all facilities consistently reflect the high standards our Members expect and deserve.
The ideal candidate for this role is a team player, dependable, detail-oriented, service-minded, and takes pride in contributing to a well-maintained and welcoming Club environment. This position requires evening, holiday, and weekend availability as needed for business operations.
Job Duties:
Building Maintenance:
· Perform light-duty building maintenance and touch-up painting as needed.
· Climb ladders to replace light bulbs and perform minor repairs.
· Address basic plumbing issues such as leaky faucets and minor fixture repairs.
· Use basic hand tools safely and effectively.
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and time-sensitive situations.
· Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned.
Janitorial & Facility Care:
· Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors throughout Club facilities.
· Dust and wipe down furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
· Clean and sanitize restrooms and locker rooms.
· Remove trash and recycling from receptacles.
· Restock restroom and facility supplies including soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.
· Maintain high standards of cleanliness in both Member-facing and back-of-house areas.
Qualifications:
· Working knowledge of light-duty maintenance and basic repair work.
· Prior janitorial or custodial experience.
· Familiarity with basic hand tools.
· Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
· Ability to climb ladders and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
· Ability to react quickly and effectively in emergencies or time-sentence situations.
· Proactive self-starter who takes direction well.
· Team-oriented with strong verbal communication skills.
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
· Must have reliable transportation.
· Must be available to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as needed for business operations.
Work Environment:
This position requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift. Work is performed indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
