Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused AM/PM Restaurant Server to join our dining team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional service in our elegant country club restaurant during morning and evening shifts. Your enthusiasm, attention to detail, and hospitality skills will ensure our guests enjoy memorable dining experiences while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and guest relations.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and assist with food and beverage selections to enhance their experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems, ensuring timely delivery of food and drinks
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while providing personalized recommendations
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to sanitation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, bussing as needed, and ensure the dining area remains inviting at all times
- Support food handling and sanitation protocols to uphold food safety regulations in a fine dining environment
Skills
- Proven experience with restaurant POS systems such as Club Essentials POS or Micros POS
- Strong knowledge of food service operations, including food handling, preparation, and sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts in a fast-paced setting
- Previous experience in fine dining or club environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with OpenTable reservations system for guest management
- Effective upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue
- Knowledge of food industry standards related to food safety, hospitality, and guest relations
- Experience supporting host/hostess duties or nightclub service is a plus
