As a Youth Counselor, you will play a key role in creating a safe, supportive, and healing environment for youth ages 10 18, all while gaining valuable experience in the behavioral health field no prior experience required. In this role, you will provide daily care, supervision, and mentorship, build trusting relationships, and support each youth s emotional and behavioral growth. You will help maintain a structured, therapeutic environment, teach coping and life skills, model healthy boundaries, and collaborate closely with a dedicated, supportive team. North Homes offers paid training, ongoing supervision, and clear opportunities for advancement across a continuum of residential programs, including short-term stabilization services, comprehensive 35-day evaluations, intensive residential treatment, strength-based residential cottages for youth with serious emotional disturbance, and independent living support through our Teens in Transition program.
