Senior Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. This position supports day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and general accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
• Prepare bank account reconciliations
• Review and reconcile intercompany accounts
• Prepare and maintain cost centers
• Maintain fixed asset schedules
• Prepare quarterly multi-state sales tax filings for Vermont, Connecticut, and New Jersey
• Assist with year-end financial statement review deliverables
• Prepare various financial analyses
• Process accounts payable, including reviewing and entering invoices
• Prepare checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments
• Track and reconcile company credit card activity
• Review sales orders and report on underperforming sales orders
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required
• At least five years of relevant accounting experience required
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to analyze data
• Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness, with a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to meet productivity standards and complete work in a timely manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience with Global Shop or other manufacturing ERP software is a plus

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
