What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Coordinator position at North Georgia Beverage?
North Georgia Beverage is seeking a highly organized, self-motivated Parts Coordinator to support the daily operations of our parts department. This is a ground-floor opportunity for the right candidate — someone who can walk into an active, hands-on environment, establish order, and take real ownership of how this department functions and grows.
No prior parts experience is required. What is required is an exceptional ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision. If you bring those skills, we will teach you the rest.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain accurate parts inventory through cycle counts, stock verification, and organized storage practices
- Process parts orders accurately and in a timely manner, coordinating with vendors and internal teams
- Manage shipping and receiving activities, including inspection, documentation, and logging
- Track parts shipments and proactively communicate status updates to relevant team members
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly
- Develop and maintain organizational systems that improve department efficiency
- Collaborate with service technicians to fulfill parts requests accurately and on time
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized parts area at all times
- Support the Parts Manager with day-to-day department operations as assigned
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives independently, takes initiative without being prompted, and finds genuine satisfaction in creating structure and order. This role has real potential for the right person — someone with the organizational skills and leadership presence to shape how this department operates.

- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities without close direction
- Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through without prompting
- Calm and focused in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

- Comfortable learning new systems and software
- High school diploma or equivalent required
PREFERRED — BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Prior experience in inventory management, shipping/receiving, warehouse, or parts coordination
- Familiarity with commercial beverage or refrigeration equipment

Candidates must be comfortable working in this type of setting on a daily basis. The role requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly, with extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
