Responsibilities:

- Interpret conversations, medical procedures, and instructions in real-time.
- Translate written documents such as medical records and consent forms.

- Collaborate with social workers and child protective services when necessary to ensure the well-being of patients.

- Proficient in medical terminology to accurately interpret and translate complex medical information.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language (PORTUGUESE - SPANISH)
- Familiarity with American Sign Language (ASL) for effective communication with hearing-impaired patients.
- Strong communication skills to convey messages clearly and accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize assignments.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Knowledge of hospital protocols and procedures related to interpretation services.
