Role Description
The On-site Spanish Interpreter will be responsible for providing high-quality interpretation services in medical, legal, and conference settings. Common appointments include USCIS immigration appointments, parent-teacher conference meetings, trainings, business meetings, and more. This role requires traveling to various locations within the Jacksonville metro area.

- Projects are paid hourly starting at $30-$40 USD/hour, based on appointment type, experience and credentials.
Qualifications
- Must currently reside in Jacksonville, FL metro area, or be willing to commute to Jacksonville.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish (required)
- Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, or a relevant field (highly preferred)
- Professional certification in interpretation (preferred)
- Previous experience in translation and interpretation services (required)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism and to adherence to ethical standards
- Reliable transportation to and from work locations in Jacksonville, FL
