What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at North End Tavern?
We are looking for a competent Restaurant Server/Bartender to take and deliver orders. Our servers work in teams of 2-4 and help each other take care of the entire restaurant and bar. We have a fun and pressure free crew but must be ready at any time to work in a high speed environment. Must be willing to work flexible hours Monday through Saturday. If you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, you would be a great fit.
Responsibilities
- Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
- Take and serve orders
- Answer questions or make recommendations from the menu
- Work well with other restaurant servers and staff
- Deal with complaints or problems by treating people with kindness and respect
- Issue bills and accept payment
Skills
- Proven restaurant experience
- Hands-on experience in cashier duties
