Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction from arrival to departure
- Assist with food handling, sanitation, and basic food preparation to support kitchen operations when needed
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests, maintaining cleanliness standards in dining areas
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations gracefully
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles, or cashiering demonstrates excellent guest relations skills
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail in order accuracy and cleanliness
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and transaction processing
