We are currently hiring for Direct Support Professionals at NES in Vernal. Our organization operates 19 homes, many staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is a fun, rewarding career with plenty of opportunities to grow.
No experience or certifications are necessary - we will provide all the training needed for the right candidates.
One (1)-Full-time 40 hours a week- Saturday, Sunday 9a-9p with two days during the week 3p-11p.
Two (2)-Parttime: 24 hours a week- Saturday, Sunday 9a-9p can add one day a week 3p-11p
Two (2)-PRN: Work shifts as needed.
One (1)-Graveyard: Friday 11p-9a, Saturday 9p-9a, & Sunday 9p-9a. 34 hours a week

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs and preferences.
- Monitor client health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Support clients in engaging with their community through social activities, outings, and appointments.
- Uphold resident rights while ensuring a safe and clean living environment.
- Foster positive relationships with clients by providing emotional support and companionship.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and client progress as required.
- Strong knowledge of patient care principles and practices, particularly in senior care and home community care settings.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Ability to monitor patients effectively, ensuring their health and safety at all times.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- A compassionate approach to caregiving that respects resident rights and promotes independence.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be 18 years of age or older (for insurance purposes)
- Must have a valid state ID or current driver's license
- Must have a Social Security card for the background check
