What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler for Hardware store position at North-East Assembly?
We are looking to hire a couple of assemblers for a few hardware stores we service in Connecticut. We assemble grills, wheelbarrows, patio furniture, toolboxes and snowblowers for home improvement stores.
.
When you go to stores like Home Depot, Lowes and Walmart and see all of the grills, patio furniture and snowblowers already assembled, we are the teams who make that happen. We perform all assembly on location at the stores.
We get paid for each item we assemble, not by the hour.
Generally new assemblers earn around $100-$120 per day depending on how efficiently they assemble and how many hours each person chooses to work. Experienced assemblers usually earn more in the range of $200-$350 per day. Our pay depends simply on how efficiently we assemble.
We have locations all over Connecticut, but most assemblers work at the locations closest to their home in order to minimize travel.
We generally prefer to work weekdays starting at around 7AM. Working the weekends is voluntary.
We do have to pass a basic background check but not all felonies lead to disqualification..
We do have to provide our own tools, but mostly all we need is a quality cordless impact driver, a metric socket set, Phillips bits and a utility knife.
If you are interested I will send you a link to a couple of You Tube videos of an experienced assembler building some of the items we assemble so you can see the type of work we do.
