Job Details
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Assemble parts for finished product from assembly drawings using hand tools and machines
Deburr parts using hand tools, rotary filers, and machine barrel tumblers
Operate grinding equipment or perform swaging operations (with hearing conservation program compliance where required)
Fill out inspection records, work orders, and process records per procedures
Read and follow simple prints, work orders, and the labor tracking process
Package, crate, and prepare finished product for shipping
Inspect your own work using standard gaging to maintain quality standards
Meet established quality and production levels
Maintain a safe, clean work area and wear required PPE (safety glasses and composite-toe safety shoes)
Work cooperatively with teammates to meet department and company goals
Qualifications (Needed)
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
Experience or strong background in operating drill press, kick press, power press, grinding equipment, and test equipment
Computer literacy required
Proven ability to follow instructions and read/interpret assembly drawings and blueprints
Good dexterity, basic math skills, and the ability to read and write English competently
Strong background in meeting quality and production standards in a team manufacturing environment
Able to work cooperatively as well as independently with minimum supervision
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by U.S. export control laws (ITAR requirement)
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
Physical: able to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat for extended periods; occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs; occasionally climb ladders up to 9' high
