Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Admissions Officer based in Fargo, ND. The Admissions Officer will be responsible for evaluating student documents, processing admissions applications, making informed decisions aligned with policies and procedures, and ensuring timely communication.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Associate degree (or equivalent)
• Proficiency with personal computing
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate requirements and status to applicants both orally and in writing
• Ability to effectively work with a wide range of people
• Customer service experience
• Good interpersonal, oral & written communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion in the workplace and in the student body
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
• Two years office experience directly related to information processing
• Experience working in a university setting
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Connection or other student records system
• Knowledge of perceptive Content or other document imaging system
• Demonstration of organizational abilities
