CPR Certification must be obtained within 90 days.

- Supervise bedtime routines.
- Monitor NDVS/SB facility for security purposes, call maintenance when needed.
- Provide human guide assistance.
- Communicate information to supervisor and fellow Houseparent Staff
- Attend In-service Meetings as requested.
- Work a minimum of one shift per Short Term Program week.

This position is temporary and available during center-based programming weeks. CPR and First Aid Certification (training provided) are required with the first three months of hire.
Duties:
- Help maintain a safe, stimulating and comfortable homelike environment.
- Carry out evening or overnight activities as scheduled.
- Support and instruct students according to rules in the NDVS/SB handbook.
- Help with evening meal as needed.
- Provide homework support as directed by staff.
- Supervise bedtime routines.
- Monitor NDVS/SB facility for security purposes, call maintenance when needed.
- Provide human guide assistance.
- Communicate information to supervisor and fellow Houseparent Staff
- Attend In-service Meetings as requested.
- Work a minimum of one shift per Short Term Program week.
