Candidates must be flexible, skilled in classroom management and willing to collaborate with others to create a positive and engaging school culture. This position will be assigned to the alternative school location.Minimum Requirements: -Masters degree in social work, or the equivalent.-Supervised internship experience as per the Vermont Agency of Education licensing guidelines.Duties and Responsibilities: -Serves as a liaison between the school, families and community agencies. -Provides counseling and support to all students, as needed.-Provides information regarding community services and resources to parents and staff.-Consults with various teams such as EST, BST, and 504 to assist students.-Presents classroom curriculum such as Act 1, as determined by administration.-Serves on school teams to represent student and family needs.-Consults with parents and agencies to assist students, providing referrals when needed.Salary and Benefits: As per Teachers Negotiated Agreement.
