What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Behavior Interventionists position at North Country Supervisory Union?
Position goal: Promote a safe environment for students and staff through presence, visibility, and relationship-building where students can thrive in academic and social/emotional experiences.Qualifications: 1. Associate degree in related field preferred, minimum 48 college credits, or relevant experience.2. Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in working with students who have significant social, emotional, and behavioral challenges preferred.3. CPI certified, training in Restorative Practices preferred.4.
Ability to communicate, collaborate and relate effectively with others.5. Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills as well as the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.6. A positive attitude towards child and those involved in the childs educational program.These are school session positions, 7.5 hours a day. Salary & Benefits: As per Support Staff Negotiated Agreement.
