About the Role:
As a Journeyman Electrician, you’ll install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial electrical systems while helping NCP grow its electrical division. You’ll work independently and with apprentices, coordinate with project managers and other trades, communicate professionally with customers, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to code.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and light commercial electrical systems
- Troubleshoot electrical issues
- Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and wiring diagrams
- Coordinate with plumbing/HVAC teams on multi-trade projects
- Lead or assist apprentices in the field
- Maintain safe, clean, code-compliant job sites
- Communicate with customers and office staff
- Document work accurately
What You’ll Bring:
- Licensure: Valid MN Journeyman Electrician License
- Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and able to work a 4x10 schedule.
- Team Player: Positive attitude and willingness to work alongside other trades and mentor apprentices.
- Physical Capability: Able to lift, carry, bend, and work in various environments.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
