Duties
- Efficiently clean dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of sanitation and safety
- Assist with bussing tables by clearing plates, silverware, and glassware promptly and courteously
- Support food preparation tasks such as assembling ingredients or organizing supplies under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing tables and floors regularly
- Help with catering or banquet setups by arranging tables, linens, and serving stations as needed
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow during busy service periods and special events
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of basic food handling, cleaning protocols, and food service etiquette is advantageous
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or bending comfortably
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Experience with catering or banquet service is a plus but not mandatory
- A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness, organization, and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting
