We’re looking for a skilled, reliable Frame-to-Finish Carpenter to join our team and help build and finish beautiful homes.
Position Summary
We are seeking a full-time Frame-to-Finish Carpenter with strong experience in both rough framing and fine finish work. The ideal candidate can take a project from structural framing through to high-quality interior finishes, including trim, doors, cabinets, and detail work. You will work on residential new construction and renovation projects, collaborating closely with other trades while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate rough framing, including walls, floors, roofs, and structural elements
- Install and finish interior trim, baseboards, crown molding, doors, windows, and hardware
- Install cabinets, vanities, and built-ins with precise fitting and finishing
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
- Ensure work meets building codes, company standards, and client expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Collaborate with other carpenters, painters, plumbers, electricians, and project managers
- Perform layout, measuring, cutting, and assembly with precision
- Complete punch-list and finish details to a high standard
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional residential carpentry experience (frame-to-finish preferred)
- Strong skills in both rough framing and fine finish work
- Ability to read blueprints and work from plans
- Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment
- Knowledge of building codes and best practices for residential construction
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders, scaffolding, and at heights
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and pride in craftsmanship
- Positive attitude, good communication, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Experience with custom homes, additions, kitchens, or cabinetry installation is a strong plus
