This is not a full-time job. It's not even part-time. It's an every-once-in-a-while, extra-money-in-your-pocket gig — a recurring visit once a month or every couple months. ABOUT THE ROLE

North Co Commercial Cleaning is hiring for a recurring retail cleaning assignment in the Times Square area. We're looking for 1 to 2 people per position. The store needs us wrapped up before they open (usually 10–11 AM), so we sometimes put two people on a job to guarantee we're done in time. The store name and exact address are shared once you're confirmed and onboarding is complete.

SCHEDULE & PAY (per visit, per job)

First visit: Monday, August 31, 2026 — 6:30 AM start. This date is firm for both services.

WINDOW WASHING — monthly, on a Monday, 6:30 AM — $100 per visit

• Solo: about 1–1.5 hours on site — full $100 is yours (~$65–$100/hr average)
• Two people: about 45 min–1 hour on site — $50 each (~$50–$65/hr average)

COMMERCIAL CLEANING — every 2 months, on a Monday, 6:30 AM — $190 per visit

• Solo: about 2.5–3 hours on site — full $190 is yours (~$63–$76/hr average)
• Two people: about 1.5–2 hours on site — $95 each (~$50–$65/hr average)

On combined months (both jobs same morning): $290 total for the trip.

Either way your average hourly stays strong — two people just means less time on site.

The August 31 start is locked — the store sends a manager to let us in. After that the recurring Monday may be able to move, but the start time is always 6:30 AM. Tell us up front any days you CAN'T work.

PAYMENT

Each job is paid separately. Check-in, before/after photos, and check-out are done through links we send — they must be completed every visit. Pay normally lands within 24–48 hours after the store manager confirms the work — but it can slow down if anything needs to be fixed. Send your photos and follow the instructions and you can usually get paid in a few hours or less.

Parking: reimbursed only with a receipt showing date, time in, time out, place, and total price. Missing any of that — no reimbursement.

THE WORK

Commercial Cleaning: sweep, dust mop, and vacuum all floors including corners and edges; mop hard floors; remove gum and stickers; dust shelving, fixtures, ledges, and vents; wipe counters and display cases; empty trash and replace liners; clean and disinfect the restroom if present; damp mop office, stockroom, and break room floors.

Window Washing: entry door glass inside and out; polish handles, sills, and doorplates; remove spider webs; wipe frames and ledges; remove gum, debris, and tape; squeegee and detail all glass edges and corners; wipe ledges dry.

SUPPLIES

Bring your own supplies and earn a per-visit bonus: $10 commercial cleaning, $5 window washing, $15 if you bring both. North Co can provide everything if you don't — either is fine, just tell us what you have: all, some, or none.

Commercial: mop and bucket and/or flat mop with extra pads, broom & dustpan, all-purpose cleaner, disinfectant, glass cleaner, microfiber cloths, dusting tool, restroom cleaner.

Windows: window scrubber/applicator, squeegee, glass cleaning solution, microfiber or scrim cloths, scraper or razor, bucket.

Step stool or extension pole: not required, but handy for window tops and high dusting.

DRESS CODE

Slip-resistant shoes (we can help you get a pair if needed). Clean plain blue or black shirt — branded shirt provided at 3 months. Jeans or non-athletic shorts; nothing ripped, no sweatpants. Hair tied back, arrive clean and presentable.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be 21 or older
• Prior cleaning experience — commercial or residential is fine
• Window washing experience with a scrubber and squeegee
• Reliable personal transportation
• Strong communication — checking in, responding, keeping us updated
• Comfortable completing a standard onboarding screening

PACE / THE SERVICE WINDOW

The store opens around 10–11 AM and we have to be completely done before then. Work efficiently without sacrificing quality — if the window can't be hit solo, that's exactly why we put two people on.

COMMUNICATION

This is our #1 priority. If something changes, we need to know ahead of time — every time.
