2 CLEANERS NEEDED -- Chestnut Hill, MA -- Weekly Store Cleaning + Monthly Window Cleaning

Location: The Street Chestnut Hill (Boylston St., Chestnut Hill, MA area)

ABOUT THE ROLE

North Co Commercial Cleaning is hiring two cleaners for one retail store for a national home goods retailer. Store name and exact address are shared once you're confirmed and onboarding. This is set-schedule work — same day, same time, every week or every month. It is not full-time or part-time — it is one short visit on a fixed day.

Two openings. Tell us which one you're applying for, or if you're open to either:

1. STORE CLEANER — once a week

2. WINDOW CLEANER — once a month

Seth assigns roles at hire. Each is a one-person job.

FREQUENCY, TIME & PAY — READ THIS CAREFULLY

STORE CLEANER

- How often: ONCE A WEEK — every Monday

- Start time: 8:45 AM

- First visit: Monday, August 31 at 8:45 AM

- Pay: $55 per visit. Flat. Total. Paid to one person.

- Average time on site: 1 to 1.5 hours, one person (could be a little less or a little more while you get a system down the first couple visits)

- Effective hourly: ~$37–$55/hr

- This is a light general clean — not a deep clean.

WINDOW CLEANER

- How often: ONCE A MONTH — one Monday per month

- Start time: 8:45 AM

- First visit: Monday, September 21 at 8:45 AM

- Pay: $55 per visit. Flat. Total. Paid to one person.

- Average time on site: 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes, one person

- Effective hourly: ~$44–$73/hr

DEEP CLEAN — TWICE A YEAR (extra paid visit)

- Both hires work it together

- Takes the place of one Monday general clean — date set in advance

- Pay: $140 total for the visit — split between the two of you ($70 each)

- Average time on site: 1.5 to 2.5 hours with two people (2.5 to 3.5 hours if one person does it alone and takes the full $140)

BACKUP

Each hire is the other's backup. If you cover the other person's visit, you get that visit's pay. Extra paid visit.

TO BE CLEAR

- The pay is per visit, not per hour. If you bring a helper, the $55 does not change — you split it with them.

- Weekly store clean = $55 total. Monthly windows = $55 total. On the Monday both happen, that's $110 total across the two jobs.

- Nothing here is negotiable. If $55 for a 1–1.5 hour visit doesn't work for you, please don't apply.

THE WORK

Store Cleaner: dust fixtures, shelving, and counters; spot clean glass and doors; empty trash; vacuum and mop all floors; clean and restock the restroom.

Window Cleaner: interior and exterior storefront glass, entry doors, squeegee and detail all edges and corners, wipe sills and ledges dry.

SUPPLIES

North Co supplies everything — all supplies and equipment are kept at the store. You bring nothing. The only thing we ask: take the towels and mop head home and wash them as needed so they're clean for the next visit.

REQUIREMENTS

- Must be 21 or older

- Reliable personal transportation (no rideshare, no transit)

- Must be able to read and communicate in English by text — all instructions and check-ins are in English

- Comfortable completing a standard onboarding screening

- Store Cleaner: prior cleaning experience

- Window Cleaner: experience cleaning glass with a scrubber or applicator and a squeegee. Spraying and wiping with a towel is not window cleaning experience for this role.

PAY & HOW IT WORKS

Check in, upload before/after photos and videos, and check out through the links we provide — that's how you get paid. Pay averages 24–48 hours after the job is completed to manager satisfaction, via Cash App. Parking reimbursed only with a full receipt (date, time in/out, place, total).

DRESS CODE

Slip-resistant shoes recommended. Plain blue or black shirt, jeans or non-athletic shorts — nothing ripped, no sweatpants. Hair tied back, clean and presentable.

COMMUNICATION

This is the #1 thing. Answer texts. Tell Seth ahead of time if anything changes. Screening is done by message and a short automated screening call — those questions are the interview. No live phone calls until someone is hired.
