Hours: Monday- Friday 8:30AM- 5:00PM- Ottawa
Salary: $20.70 base pay (Exact salary calculation is made based on education and experience)
Job Summary
Responsible for a variety of counseling modalities for chemically dependent and other addiction clients and families. Assumes a caseload of clients and provides community consults and education services as requested. Supports the provider in provision of MAT services, participates in staffings and treatment plan development with the team.
Duties
- Carries caseload of clients within the MAT program.
- Provides assessment and makes treatment recommendations to establish personalized treatment plan.
- Facilitates psychoeducational groups.
- Provides individual counseling, and Level 1 and Level 2 group services to clients.
- Provides consultation and education under supervision.
- Prepares and maintains necessary client records and reports in accordance with licensing and accreditation standards and agency policies/procedures.
- Documents client response to individual and group therapy in approved formats including individual and group progress notes.
- Works with probation and courts to assure clients are engaged in treatment as required by court orders.
- Participates in agency meetings, training, and supervisions.

- Knowledge of all aspects of SU treatment and MAT
- Proficient with electronic health records and computer programs.
Requirements
- Required Certification as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
- Required one-year experience working in addictions field.
- Preferred Bachelor?s Degree in Human Service Field, and one-year experience working MAT.
