Responsibilities
- Assist in building datasets involving multimodal plant imagery ( RGB , RGB -D, multispectral)
- Support preprocessing pipelines: image lighting corrections, normalization, and feature extraction
- Train and evaluate deep learning models (e.g., EfficientNet, YOLO , ViT, or multi-task CNNs)
- Explore time-series methods for modeling disease severity progression
- Conduct literature searches and summarize scientific papers
- Participate in weekly check-ins, present updates, and document results
- Work collaboratively and contribute to conference materials (posters, slides, short papers)

- Prior exposure to computer vision tasks (object detection, image classification, segmentation)

- Experience with version control (Git)
- Image Processing skills (OpenCV, scikit-image, etc.)
- Matlab programming
- Familiarity with crop pests (diseases, insects, etc.) and agricultural datasets

- Experience with deep learning packages; PyTorch or TensorFlow
