Role Description
This is a 10 hour a week hybrid role as a Podcast Editor at North Carolina State University, based in Raleigh, NC, with some flexibility for remote work. The Podcast Editor will be responsible for planning, recording, editing, and finalizing podcast episodes. This includes creating engaging and high-quality audio content, coordinating with guests and contributors, and ensuring all episodes adhere to defined creative and technical standards. The Podcast Editor will collaborate with team members to produce content that aligns with NC State’s mission and effectively communicates to its audience.
Qualifications
- Strong audio editing and production skills, including experience with editing software and sound design
- Content planning, script editing, and storytelling expertise
- Proficiency in recording techniques and the use of professional audio recording equipment
- Excellent project coordination, time management, and attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Experience in digital content creation, branding, and audience engagement is a plus
