| Essential Job Duties | Join our team as an Engineer II and play a key role in shaping the future of NC State's campus through the design and management of capital improvement projects. In this position, you will take ownership of projects from initial planning and design through construction, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal codes as well as university standards. You'll collaborate closely with Campus Planning, Operations & Maintenance, Business Operations, Environmental Health & Safety, and a variety of other stakeholders, serving as the university's primary point of contact for your projects. This role offers the opportunity to apply your engineering expertise, lead complex projects, and directly contribute to the efficiency, safety, and functionality of campus facilities.
