The intern will support efforts to help visitors contribute to healthy coastal ecosystems; resilient communities and economies; sustainable seafood and aquaculture; and environmental literacy and workforce development.

- Compile coastal science and education content for a new NC Sea Grant webpage that focuses on coastal visitors
- Develop new communication products (e.g. social media content, magnets, posters) targeted for coastal visitors
- Conduct outreach with partners who can help distribute NC Sea Grant resources to coastal visitors
