This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in low voltage systems, security integration, audio/visual technologies, or network infrastructure who enjoys collaborating with customers, developing solutions, and supporting projects from concept through implementation.
What You'll Do
- Meet with customers to understand operational challenges and technical requirements.
- Design and recommend integrated solutions including:
- Access Control
- Video Surveillance (CCTV)
- Intrusion Detection
- Audio/Video Systems
- Mass Notification & Paging
- Structured Cabling
- Communications Systems
- Conduct site surveys and gather project requirements.
- Develop scopes of work, system designs, proposals, and estimates.
- Create and review system layouts, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Partner with operations, project management, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Present solutions to customers and serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales process.
- Maintain knowledge of emerging technologies, industry trends, and manufacturer product lines.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Electronic Security
- Access Control
- Video Surveillance
- Audio/Visual Systems
- Structured Cabling
- Low Voltage Systems Integration
- Ability to conduct customer-facing presentations and technical discussions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience developing proposals, scopes of work, and cost estimates.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the region as needed.
- Experience with platforms such as:
- Genetec
- Avigilon
- LenelS2
- Milestone
- Verkada
- Axis
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and IP-based systems.
- AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Visio, or similar design software experience.
- Manufacturer certifications and/or industry certifications are highly valued.
