Overview
We are a mission-driven nonprofit organization supporting healthcare professionals and protecting the public through recovery and monitoring programs. We are seeking a Finance & Operations Manager to oversee our day-to-day financial processes and administrative operations.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a small, high-impact organization where accuracy, accountability, and reliability are essential.
Duties
- Financial Operations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and maintain accurate financial records
Reporting & Compliance
- Assist with budgeting and monthly financial reporting
- Support annual audit and IRS Form 990 preparation
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and state requirements
Payroll & Benefits
- Process bi-monthly payroll and manage employee deductions
- Maintain payroll records and coordinate tax filings (W-2s, 1099s)
- Support administration of 403(b) retirement plan
Donations & Program Support
- Process and track donations and scholarship funds
- Coordinate transfers to partner organizations
- Review scholarship applications for completeness and accuracy
Operations Support
- Manage bank deposits and financial documentation
- Oversee vehicle fleet logistics (registration, insurance, maintenance)
- Oversee participant billing (recurring billing, statements, collections)
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts monthly
- Code transactions and maintain general ledger integrity
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or nonprofit operations
- Strong experience with QuickBooks or similar systems
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Comfortable handling confidential information
- Nonprofit experience preferred

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or related field 5 - 7 years of relevant experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Detail-oriented and analytical
