Public Relations (PR) Manager

Maro Finance Consulting LLC is seeking a proactive Entry-Level Public Relations (PR) Specialist to join our growing team to support our communications and media relations efforts.

In this role, you will assist with media outreach, corporate communications, and company visibility initiatives, including industry events and executive positioning in the U.S. market.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of PR and media relations strategies
• Draft and distribute press releases, media pitches, and corporate announcements
• Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and financial associations
• Coordinate interviews, speaking engagements, and media appearances for company executives
• Monitor media coverage and prepare press reports and summaries
• Support company messaging across media and digital channels
• Identify opportunities for participation in industry events, conferences, and partnerships
• Support brand awareness initiatives and company visibility efforts
• Support planning and coordination of PR campaigns and events

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in PR, communications, or media relations (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
• Ability to simplify business and financial topics (no prior finance experience required)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Familiarity with PR tools, media databases, and digital communication platforms is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest or experience in accounting, fintech, consulting, or financial services
• Exposure to executive communications, thought leadership, or personal branding
• Understanding of the U.S. media landscape
