The North Carolina Office of the State Auditor (OSA) is seeking an Audit Manager to help lead our Performance Audit Division. This position involves conducting advanced and specialized audit work, which includes managerial and supervisory duties.
OSA is the state’s Fiscal Watchdog. We hold state government and entities that receive public money accountable, working on behalf of North Carolinians to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse.

As part of our team, you will get to:
- Perform managerial and oversight functions over a Performance Audit Team
- Plan, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate the work of audit staff
- Assist in establishing the long-term and short-term goals of the Performance Audit Division
- Mentor in the training and development of audit staff
- Exercise a high level of independent decision-making
- Draft and review audit reports for senior management review
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
A bachelor’s degree with 12 semester hours in accounting from an appropriately accredited institution and 5 years of experience in auditing/accounting or program evaluation, one of which must have been functioning as an audit lead or supervisor

Salary : $78,579 - $153,228
