This is a full-time, on-site role located in Wilmington, NC, for the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program. The role involves providing direct case management services to veterans and their families by assessing needs, developing service plans, and connecting clients with community resources. The Supportive Services role includes tracking and reporting on client outcomes, building relationships with local service providers, and offering housing stability assistance. The individual will be responsible for ensuring compliance with program policies and delivering high-quality support to clients in need.
- Case management, client assessment, and service coordination skills
- Experience in community outreach, resource referrals, and partnership building
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records, reporting outcomes, and data entry
- Knowledge of housing stability services, support for veteran populations, or similar social services programs
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and on-site in Wilmington, NC
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience with programs designed to serve veterans and their families is a plus
