Internal Communications Coordinator – NYC
We’re looking for detail-oriented, creative, and motivated Internal Communications professional to join a dynamic global organization in New York City. Ideal for an individual who enjoys storytelling, content creation, and helping employees stay informed and engaged.
In this role, you’ll help shape internal messaging and bring company culture to life. Responsibilities include writing newsletters and internal updates, supporting event communications, maintaining intranet content, and managing distribution lists. You’ll be a key player in ensuring employees stay connected to what’s happening across the firm.
What You’ll Do:
- Write and edit engaging internal content including newsletters, intranet stories, employee spotlights, and event communications
- Create presentations and templates to support firmwide initiatives and updates
- Support event and program communications such as company celebrations and philanthropic initiatives
- Help maintain internal communication channels and distribution lists
- Collaborate across departments to gather updates and share meaningful stories
- Assist with administrative and coordination tasks that keep the team running smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field
- 2–8 years of relevant experience in internal communications, media, or related fields (open to both early-career and more experienced professionals)
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail
- Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
Details:
Location: New York City – 5 days onsite
Type: Long-term contract
Compensation: $60k-$85k commensurate with experience
Salary : $60,000 - $85,000
