What You'll Do:
- Hybrid Support Delivery: Balance scheduled maintenance, proactive monitoring tasks, and strategic client projects with high-priority, ad-hoc emergency troubleshooting across diverse client environments.
- Technical Support: Provide in-depth troubleshooting via phone, remote sessions, and on-site visits to resolve issues efficiently.
- Problem-Solving & Infrastructure: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and infrastructure issues across desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and multi-tenant client networks.
- Identity & Cloud Administration: Manage user access, permissions, and configurations within Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Google Workspace, and cloud-hosted environments.
- Network & Systems Setup: Assist with network hardware configuration (routers, switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi), VPN troubleshooting, and server deployment.
- Device Management: Execute customized deployments and provisioning for new workstations and equipment to meet specific client specifications.
- Documentation, Time Tracking, & Invoicing: Maintain comprehensive, accurate records of client environments, troubleshooting steps, time entries, and invoicing details within our PSA/RMM ticketing system.
- Client Consultation & Service: Offer clear, approachable advice to non-technical clients, managing requests from initial triage through final resolution.
Who You Are:
- Adaptable Multi-Tasker: Comfortable shifting gears seamlessly between routine managed IT tasks and dynamic, fast-paced on-demand troubleshooting scenarios.
- Tech-Savvy & Analytical: Experienced with Windows/macOS ecosystems, virtualization, basic command-line utilities, and core TCP/IP networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, VLANs, Subnets).
- Continuous Learner: Eager to research solutions to technical challenges and stay current on cybersecurity trends and industry best practices.
- Strong Communicator: Top-tier customer-service mindset with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in plain language.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5 years of experience in an IT support role (MSP or multi-client support experience preferred).
- Education & Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network , Security , Microsoft 365 Certified) are a plus.
- Vehicle & Licensing: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle for travel to local client sites.
- Physical Capability: Ability to lift and move hardware up to 50 lbs.
- Environment: Comfortable working across various client environments, including offices, home offices, server rooms, and collaborative spaces.
- Screening: Background checks required upon job offer acceptance.
What We Offer:
- Compensation: $50,000 – $58,000 / year (commensurate with experience)
- Schedule: Standard weekday hours (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Travel: Mileage reimbursement at standard IRS rates for client visits
