Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to transport goods along designated routes.
- Load and unload products at various delivery locations, ensuring all items are handled with care.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities and condition of goods delivered.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving to ensure safety at all times.
- Manage route schedules effectively to ensure timely deliveries.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in a delivery environment.
- Valid commercial driving license with experience in route driving and delivery operations.
- Proficient in operating box trucks and manual transmission vehicles.
- Experience in heavy lifting and moving goods safely and efficiently.
- Ability to navigate routes efficiently, utilizing maps or GPS systems as necessary.

FedEx Driving Position - Rural Routes South of LaCrosse WI
- Monday - Friday
- Tuesday - Saturday
- Every other Saturday
- On-call/backup driver
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 23 years of age
- Pre-employment / Periodic random DOT drug testing
- No marijuana / CBD / THC use
- Prior employment verification
- Criminal background check
- Motor vehicle report
- Physically move 150 lbs on a hand truck and carry 50 lbs
- 7:30 am start time - end time is when the route is done
- Reliable daily transportation required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks regularly.
- Valid driver's license with background check.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing deliveries effectively.
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route sheets, and documentation throughout your shift

- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal performance and safety
