Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Associate (PA-C)

Core Responsibilities...
- Routine Care: Conducts well-child exams, tracks growth patterns, evaluates developmental milestones and administers childhood immunizations.
- Diagnosis and Treatment: Diagnoses and treats common acute illnesses as well as minor injuries.
- Chronic Disease Management: Manages ongoing conditions such as childhood asthma, allergies, or type 1 diabetes.
- Testing and Prescribing: Orders and interprets laboratory tests and diagnostic work, prescribes appropriate medications.
- Family Education: Counsels parents and patients on nutrition, behavior, safety and preventive health.
