FULL-TIME 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
DISTRICT WIDE
Collaborates and coordinates with administrators, educators, and education support professionals. Provides department leadership. Collaborates with intervention teams and administration to analyze and if needed, improve services and interventions informed by ongoing needs assessment, data review, and innovation in the field. Provide leadership to the Special Education Team process. Liaison with families and providers. Works with liaison to assist families to access private, community, and state agency services. Collaborate with staff, students, and administration to identify and provide proactive and responsive supports and programming to all students. Collaborate with staff, students, and administration to identify, develop, and provide proactive and responsive professional development and consultation to staff. Develop and enhance community partnerships with varied community agencies to meet the identified needs of students/families.
Qualifications:
•Master’s Degree or higher
•DESE Massachusetts Educator License preferred
•DESE Certification
•Minimum 3 years professional experience in special education.
•Cultural responsiveness and a growth mindset with students, families, and staff are a must
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as effective problem-solving skills
•Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks, as well as the ability to be flexible and organized in a fast-paced environment.
•Knowledgeable and Proficient with Federal/State laws and regulations and the EIP Team meeting process.
CURRENT MASSACHUSETTS TEACHING LICENSE PREFERRED
