Special Education Team Chair

READS Academy Team Chair The READS Academy is a special education public day school that can educate up to 132 students in grades PreK -12 with a primary disability in the area of emotional impairment. Students struggle with social-emotional and/or behavioral regulation. READS Academy is located at 44 Bedford Street Middleborough, MA with one off-site program located within the host school of West Bridgewater Middle-Senior High School 155 West Center Street West Bridgewater, MA. The READS Academy Team Chair will oversee the IEP process for all of the students at the READS Academy to include intake IEP meetings for students transitioning in for a change in placement, annual reviews, tri-annual reviews, extended evaluation Team meetings and progress meetings as needed. The Team Chair will ensure all state and federal guidelines are adhered to and ensure READS Academy maintains all appropriate documentation and accurate student records. The Team Chair will perform all job responsibilities as listed below and any additional responsibilities as delegated by the READS Academy Program Director and/or the Assistant Program Director.

Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
