Job description
Full time Experienced Paralegal for busy Family Law practice located in North Andover, MA.
All applicants must have experience working in a law firm, preferably in civil litigation/family law.
Must have excellent organizational and time management skills and be detail oriented.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing for court hearings, mediations, and trials.
Draft and file legal documents including petitions, motions, and discovery requests.
Conduct legal research on family law issues and relevant case law.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is current and accurate.
Communicate with clients to gather information, provide updates, and answer inquiries.
Assist with case management, scheduling, and tracking deadlines.
Coordinate with external parties, such as court clerks and opposing counsel.
Support the team in various administrative tasks as needed.
Pay commensurate with experience.
Hours 8:30 to 5:00 pm.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year, salary commensurate with experience and skills

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a paralegal program.
2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law.
Strong understanding of family law procedures and terminology.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research databases.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Paralegal certification (preferred, but not required).
