GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position's purposes is to load billets onto the furnace charge table in the order set out
in the rolling schedule, as well as maintain cleanliness of area and inform supervisor and
group leader of issues that need to be addressed.

group leader of issues that need to be addressed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work from the rolling schedule
- Locate and retrieve billets from the billet yard
- Load billets onto the furnace charge table
- Performa all required checklists
- Dump scrap
- Empty dust hoppers for saw and stand 1
- General Housekeeping
- Operate Cranes as necessary
- Operate Forklifts as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
- Participation in relevant continuous improvement programs.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Mobility in plant
- While performing the duties of (this job), the employee is regularly required to sit, stand,
- The employee is frequently required to make use of their hands for technical tasks
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Visual ability with or without correction
- Communication abilities
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations
- Follow Company safety rules
- Report the absence of or defect in any protective equipment or clothing to the Supervisor
- Use or wear the equipment, protective devices or clothing that is required to be used or
- Safety shoes
- Safety glasses
- Hearing protection
- Hard Hat
- Respirators; the respirator requires you to be clean shaven in order to comply with
- Fire Retardant clothing
- Acid PPE
- Report to the Safety Coordinator, Group Lead or Supervisor any contravention of the
- Must follow all Lock out Tag out (LOTO) guidelines for designated machines
- Must follow all Environmental Policies and Regulations
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations
- Clean, well ventilated and safe work areas.

- Keeping oneself informed through your company email account
- Maintaining your Dynamic Policy Profile and all assigned learnings therein
- Abiding by all security procedures
