Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure high team morale and productivity
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory control, and merchandising
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue, improve customer experience, and meet or exceed sales targets
- Manage inventory levels through purchasing, stock replenishment, and inventory management systems to minimize shrinkage and optimize stock availability
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and legal requirements across all store activities
- Implement effective marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Foster a welcoming environment by providing exceptional customer service and resolving escalated issues promptly
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or a similar customer-focused environment with supervising responsibilities
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and develop talent
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and retail math
- Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, purchasing, pricing strategies, and merchandising techniques
- Experience with recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development programs
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques including wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus
- Familiarity with budgeting processes, sales management tools, marketing strategies, and administrative functions
- Strong negotiation skills combined with effective phone etiquette and customer service excellence
