Position Summary:
The Regional Director of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth in the luxury custom cabinetry and closet systems market by leveraging industry relationships, building and leading a high-performing sales team, and executing targeted sales strategies. This role calls for a strategic, design-savvy sales leader with a strong background in premium home solutions, capable of managing high-value client relationships and developing new businesses across residential and commercial sectors. The Director will focus on growing market presence, especially among dealers, interior designers, builders, architects, and affluent homeowners, while mentoring a results-driven sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership & Team Development
o Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing regional sales team specializing in premium cabinetry and closet solutions.
o Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to ensure professional growth and consistent achievement of sales goals.
o Foster a team culture grounded in excellence, accountability, and customer-centered service.
2. Business Development
o Drive market expansion by cultivating relationships with dealers, custom home builders, interior designers, and remodeling firms.
o Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including upscale residential projects, showroom partnerships, and commercial design firms.
o Leverage industry events, referrals, and networking to establish a strong lead pipeline.
3. Client Relationship Management
o Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring superior service delivery and satisfaction.
o Understand clients’ unique needs and deliver high-touch, customized design and product solutions.
o Identify opportunities for upselling or expanding scope with existing accounts.
4. Sales Strategy & Execution
o Develop and implement a regional sales strategy aligned with company growth objectives and market demands.
o Customize sales plans to align with geographic trends, design preferences, and competitive positioning.
o Ensure consistent execution across the team and adaptability in changing market conditions.
5. Sales Reporting & Forecasting
o Utilize CRM systems (e.g.: Salesforce) to track leads, manage pipeline activity, and produce accurate sales forecasts.
o Monitor performance metrics and use data to inform strategy, coaching, and resource allocation.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
o Partner with Design, Operations, Installation, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless client experience from consultation through project completion.
o Collaborate with senior leadership to align regional performance with national growth goals.
7. Industry Networking & Market Intelligence
o Represent the company at industry trade shows, luxury home expos, and professional networking events.
o Stay ahead of trends in design, materials, and competitor offerings to refine market positioning.
Qualifications:
1. Experience
o Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, with at least 2 years in sales leadership or team management role.
o Experience in luxury home products, high-end interiors, cabinetry, or related design/building industries is strongly preferred.
2. Leadership Skills
o Proven success in building, leading, and motivating sales teams.
o Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to drive a performance-focused, collaborative culture.
