Overview
We are a customer service organization who happens to do home remodeling. As such the successful candidate must first realize the importance of customer service! In addition, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Carpenter / Lead to join our team and drive excellence in construction and remodeling projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead skilled tradespeople in delivering high-quality craftsmanship across a variety of projects, including remodeling, restoration, and new construction. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate daily operations, ensure safety compliance, and uphold the highest standards of workmanship. Your expertise will help us transform spaces efficiently while maintaining a positive, productive work environment.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of carpenters and tradespeople to complete projects on time and within scope
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute precise construction tasks
- Perform and oversee framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, siding, and roofing work
- Utilize hand tools, power tools
- Execute drywall finishing (including plastering), stucco application
- Install fixtures, flooring (tile laying, flooring installation), windows, doors, metal studs, and other structural components
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards
- Coordinate with project managers to plan daily activities and manage heavy lifting or complex assembly tasks
- Support remodeling efforts by handling plumbing, electrical experience tasks, cabinetry work, and fixture installation
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry best practices in the restoration industry
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry (including trim and frame carpentry)
- Extensive background working on construction sites with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings for diverse construction tasks
- Knowledge of wood and metal stud framing
- roofing systems, siding installation, and electrical or plumbing systems is helpful
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and quality
- Strong physical capability for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces as required
