Property Manager on the Coast

Norris & Stevens is seeking an experienced, energetic and highly organized Community Manager to take the lead at Bayshore Apartments in Astoria, Oregon.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position offering $31.00–$34.00 per hour DOE, a 2-bedroom onsite apartment as part of the compensation package, and comprehensive full-time benefits.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their community and keeping all the pieces moving — from leasing and resident relations to property presentation, financial performance, maintenance coordination and everything in between.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the community
• Drive leasing activity and follow up consistently with prospects
• Conduct tours, process applications and coordinate move-ins and move-outs
• Maintain strong occupancy and stay ahead of upcoming exposure
• Manage resident relations, rent collection and delinquency follow-up
• Coordinate unit turns, work orders, vendors and property needs
• Regularly walk the community and maintain strong curb appeal and presentation
• Complete property inspections and ensure follow-up items are addressed
• Maintain accurate property and resident records in AppFolio
• Partner with your Asset Manager and support team on property performance and priorities

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Multifamily property management, leasing or closely related housing experience
• Strong organization and follow-through
• A leasing and occupancy-focused mindset
• Confident communication with residents, prospects, vendors and coworkers
• Ability to independently manage day-to-day priorities and make decisions
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfort with property management software and learning new systems
• Someone who takes ownership of their community and takes pride in how it performs
