Duties
Experience
- Proven experience in medical-surgical nursing, home care, or outpatient settings with familiarity in acute pain management and infection control practices.
- Hands-on knowledge of EMR/EHR systems such as WellSky/ Kinnser for efficient documentation and patient tracking. We will train and assist
- Experience working with diverse populations including seniors in assisted living or nursing home environments; familiarity with geriatrics and dementia care is highly valued.
- Competency in performing complex procedures like cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), ventilator management, laboratory specimen collection/processing, and laboratory experience is preferred.
- Critical care experience in ICU or trauma centers (Level I & II Trauma Center experience) enhances your ability to handle urgent situations confidently.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and diagnostic evaluation techniques ensures precise documentation and billing compliance.
- Knowledge of Workers' Compensation law, HIPAA regulations for patient privacy, and infection control standards is essential for maintaining compliance and safety.
