Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Maintenance based in Seattle, WA. The Director of Maintenance will oversee all aspects of facility maintenance and management, ensuring the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of the property. Daily responsibilities include performing maintenance and repair tasks, managing a team of staff, monitoring building systems and equipment, and maintaining compliance with safety and health regulations. The Director will also implement preventative maintenance programs to address any building or facility concerns proactively.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Maintenance & Repair, Carpentry, and general Facility Management (FM).
- Proven experience in Maintenance Management, including the development and execution of preventative maintenance plans.
- Effective Supervisory Skills, with the ability to lead, schedule, and oversee a maintenance team to ensure operational excellence.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance protocols related to facility management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently to address facility issues effectively.
- Ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently for facility maintenance operations.
- Previous experience in a senior living or healthcare environment is a plus.
