Departmental Overview
- $26.37-$43.71/hr depending on previous work experience.
- Evening differential $2.50/hr.
- Night differential $3.00/hr.
- Weekend differential $3.00/hr.
- $3.00/hr night shift & $3.00/hr for any weekends worked

Job Summary
- Performs pulmonary function testing including spirometry, DLCO via single breath technique, lung volumes by plethysmography, meth choline challenge and exercise testing as prescribed. Adjusts care based upon age, culture, spiritual and psychological needs identified.
- Performs therapy modalities, adjusts care based on age, cultural, spiritual, and psychological needs identified.
- Provides interdisciplinary communication, monitoring, and documentation of patient’s condition on clinics medical record.
- Screens patient and obtains pertinent information as needed during patient visit.
- Maintains the exam rooms and work environment.
- Performs all duties as assigned while adhering to the 5x5 commitments.
Education
- Associate's or bachelor's degree from an American Medical Association approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or a Registry-eligible therapist as recognized by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
- Must complete 6 hours of continuing educational credits per calendar year as recognized by the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC).
- Prefer one year of experience in all areas of respiratory care to include critical care and non-invasive monitoring.
- Some computer experience preferred.
- Must be licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner as per the requirements of the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure.
- RRT status must be achieved within one year from date of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru retraining for duration of employment.
