QC Inspector - 2nd Shift

In this role, the QC Inspector performs inspections using microscopes and other vision systems and measuring devices to inspect small, medical device parts in a manufacturing environment. 

Responsibilities and duties: 

• Performs first article, in-process and/or final inspections.
• Operates other manual and automated inspection equipment/vision systems to inspect parts.
• Enter/record employee and production performance information electronically into company ERP system.

Skills and experience: 

• 3 years inspection experience
• Must have experience inspecting with microscopes
• CMM and comparator experience preferred
• Experience with SmartScope, FineScan, OGP, CT scanner or other vision system is a plus
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus
• Must have excellent hand-eye coordination (handling small parts)
• Understanding of GD&T preferred
• Must have experience working 2^nd or 3^rd shift
