Norman Keil Nurseries is a wholesale greenhouse operation celebrating 30 years in business, supplying live plants to major retail chains across NY, NJ, PA, MA, and CT. We're looking for a sharp, organized Office Administrator to keep our small office running smoothly through every season.
What You'll Do:
- Handle day-to-day office operations, including phones, email, and correspondence
- Support the sales team with order entry, delivery scheduling, and customer communication
- Assist with invoicing, purchase orders, and basic bookkeeping tasks
- Maintain filing systems and business records
- Coordinate with multiple growing sites and help manage logistics during peak season
- Assist ownership and management with reporting and administrative tasks as needed
What We're Looking For:
- 2 years of office administration or executive assistant experience
- Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, seasonal business environment
- Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word); QuickBooks a plus
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
