Mold Setter

Summary

Remove and install molds in machines. Set up the machine process conditions for best part quality and cycle time, and mold protection.

Responsibilities

• Cange out molds in machines in a timely manner following company Safety procedures
• Set up machine process conditions that will yield best part quality at optimum cycle times
• Participates in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, molds, machines, product quality, and overall performance
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment all the time
• Be a role model in applying the NDS Core Values
• Perform any other jobs as directed from time to time
  
  
  

Abilities

• Fluent in reading, writing and speaking in English language
• Basic computer knowledge
• Good knowledge of manufacturing practices, especially in plastics injection molding
• Operate an industrial forklift
  
  
  

Position Requirements

• Education: High School graduate
• Three years of manufacturing experience with a minimum of one year on setting up injection molding machines and molds.
• Computer literate.
• English verbal and written communication is essential
