Payroll / Accounts Payable Coordinator
Norlite Nursing Center – Marquette, MI
Full-Time | On-site | Monday–Friday
Norlite Nursing Center, a trusted skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Marquette for over 50 years, is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll / Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Business Office team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys numbers, accuracy, and supporting a mission-driven healthcare environment.

What You’ll Do
Payroll Responsibilities
- Process biweekly payroll for all employees with accuracy and confidentiality
- Review and audit timecards, PTO, overtime, shift differentials, and deductions
- Maintain employee payroll files (new hires, terminations, rate changes, leaves, etc.)
- Assist staff with payroll questions, tax forms, and direct deposit updates
- Reconcile payroll data for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting
Accounts Payable Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle (invoices, coding, approvals, check runs)
- Maintain vendor files and ensure 1099 compliance
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Track expenses to departmental budgets and communicate with managers
Administrative & Financial Support
- Assist with month-end reconciliation and reporting
- Provide documentation for audits and cost reporting
- Support the Business Office Manager and Administrator as needed
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience in payroll, accounts payable, or general accounting required
- Healthcare or skilled nursing experience preferred (not required)
- Strong computer skills, including Excel
- Familiarity with Paycor, Paychex, QuickBooks, or MatrixCare a plus
- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and accuracy
- Positive attitude and strong customer-service approach
